{"id":18,"date":"2022-09-16T12:03:58","date_gmt":"2022-09-16T12:03:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.elstar.info\/?page_id=18"},"modified":"2022-09-26T18:23:06","modified_gmt":"2022-09-26T08:23:06","slug":"competition-entry-rules","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.elstar.info\/the-rotary-photo-competition\/competition-entry-rules\/","title":{"rendered":"Competition Rules"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">By entering this competition, I acknowledge and meet all the following conditions:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-list\"><li>By submitting my entry, I confirm that I am an amateur.<\/li><li>I am the lawful author\/copyright owner\/authorized party of the image\/works submitted<\/li><li>I give the Rotary Club of Toowong the absolute rights and permission to use the images for promotion and display associated with present and future photo competitions.<\/li><li>I have sought relevant permission, and authority for the models\/persons\/individuals involved and venue and image of props used in my submitted works.<\/li><li>I guarantee that the images submitted have been taken by me &#8211; the person submitting photos.<\/li><li>I indemnify the Rotary Club of Toowong of all liability claims or legal claims as a result of my submission.<\/li><li>Digital correction of photos is permitted including cropping, exposure correction, colour correction, sharpening. However introducing new subject matter is not permitted.<\/li><li>Entries will be judged on the following criteria: subject matter, exposure, lighting, sharpness (where necessary), composition, creativity and technique.<\/li><li>&nbsp;All entries must be submitted by deadline date.<\/li><li>The Judges\u2019 decision is final, and any form of correspondences shall not be entertained.<\/li><li>Winners will be notified via email following the judging.<\/li><li>All entries must be submitted online and be received by the deadline of midnight 30<sup>th<\/sup> of October 2022.<\/li><li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#f50000\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Ensure your name is included in each image file name.<\/mark><\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\"><strong>Entries must meet these Technical Specifications:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-list\"><li>Images can be taken on mobiles\/smart phones or camera.<\/li><li>Images must be submitted digitally as JPEGs<\/li><li>Must be larger than 1mb and smaller than 8mb<\/li><li>Adobe RGB (1998) and SRGB accepted<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By entering this competition, I acknowledge and meet all the following conditions:- By submitting my entry, I confirm that I am an amateur.
